Dear Woman of Courage,
For more than 25 years I've worked with many clients who were dealing with breast cancer. As a result, I discovered that there are certain feelings of loss and separation that contribute to the cause of this disease beyond external factors that also act as "triggers."
By learning how to look at these feelings, emotions, life experiences, etc, in a new way, we women can greatly lessen and mitigate the "triggers" that cause breast cancer.
My clients also tend to be women who are looking for something beyond that offered by traditional breast cancer support groups. That's why, beginning in 2006, I developed the first Women Moving through Breast Cancer Program. Since then, with additional support from the Susan G. Komen Foundation, the Eder Family Trust, and Artemis Woman Corporation, this wonderful program has been enhanced to better fit the needs of women who are dealing with breast or any reproductive cancer, or who want to prevent cancer.
The WMTBC Program has been taught to small groups of women around the country as well as in hospitals and holistic health clinics. Those who participated in this program experienced an expanded capacity to heal their situation, lessen their worry, and find greater joy in life.
