Stillpoint Foundation's Service Programs
Following a long history of responding to individuals in need, particularly those who are at a transition point in their lives, The Stillpoint Foundation (501C), under the leadership of Meredith Young-Sowers, has designed several important service programs that are implemented by graduates of The Stillpoint School of Integrative Life Healing to meet specific needs of their local communities.
The mission of The Stillpoint Foundation “to help individuals find their spiritual center, that point of stillness within, in order to heal their lives and be a positive loving force for creating health, harmony and unity in their families, communities and the world” is advanced through the commitment of an active community, which includes staff, board members, graduates, family and friends. Service programs which are carried into prisons, women’s shelters, healthcare facilities, and schools are in alignment with this mission and exist as a result of the direct efforts of the Stillpoint community.
Stillpoint service programs use the tenets of the Stillpoint Model of Integrative Life Healing to help individuals who are at a physical, emotional or spiritual crossroads to make the personal shifts needed to empower and change their lives. Each project contributes to a growing body of knowledge about how our spirit has the ability to heal ourselves and our world.
